The tropical island is one of the picturesque places on earth. The myriad landscapes of Bali ranging from the hillside, dense tropical jungle, to the long sandy beaches of Bali to the warm blue waters and the diving sites - all offer splendid views to the travelers. With so many tourist attractions in Bali combined with the rich heritage and a glorious past, it is the perfect holiday destination. On a visit to Bali do check out Pemuteran Bay in Bali.

Pemuteran Bay in Bali in Indonesia is one of the amazing spots for Sightseeing in Bali. If you are looking for a perfect blend of spine tingling adventure and natural beauty, then Pemuteran Bay in Bali is the ideal venue. It is located in the shadow of mountains to the south and to the north one can see the spectacular Menjangen Island which is renowned for diving and undertaking nature treks. The breathtaking beauty of the bay is remarkable. Another factor that entices the travelers to visit the bay is the spectacular coral reef that makes it a diving and snorkeling paradise. It has the largest shallow area of coral reefs in Bali.
With its stunning view of submarine habitats, Pemuteran Beach in Northern Bali has great potential tourism attractions. A myriad of species of gorgeous fish, turtles and other kinds of marine animals live under the sea. The unmatched beauty of submarine animals and coral reefs has prompted local villagers to make continuous efforts to preserve the sea ecology. Local villagers have been engaged to preserve the sub-sea habitats since 1992. Their efforts to preserve the site has paid off when they received an award from the Indonesian Minister of Marine Affairs a few years ago. With local villagers' commitment to preserving the sub-sea habitats, Pemuteran Beach is one of the safest beaches in Bali in terms of sub-sea ecology. Amazed by the beauty of the submarine habitats in the Pemuteran Beach, an Australian tourist has given donation to help finance the construction of artificial coral reefs. Along with local villagers, the tourist constructed the artificial coral reefs by taking advantage of electrical current.
Pemuteran Bay in Bali remains one of the quite and unspoiled tourist spots in Bali. The large sheltered bay was once said to be teeming with fish and full of coral thickets and fish swarms. For the conservation of the coral reefs, the Pemuteran Coral Conservation project was undertaken and seven fish habitats were deployed in the fishing grounds. It is owing to this it is being considered as the coral reef site and diving paradise and it must feature in the itinerary when you are visiting Bali.
